Miatas at Back of the Dragon will be held in Wytheville, VA on October 17-20, 2019. We will be staying at the Fairfield Inn again this year. The phone number is 276-228-8080. Please help us honor our contract with the hotel and plan to stay there. Let them know you’re with our group to get the group discount. The deadline for the discount is October 1st. We are going on a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway on Saturday, August 24, 2019. We will meet at the Friends Mart, 7755 NC 66 Hwy S, Rural Hall, NC at 11:00 AM. We are having our Spring Drive in Little Switzerland, NC on Friday & Saturday, May 24-25, 2019.. We will be staying at the Big Lynn Lodge. Call the lodge ASAP to make your reservations. - 828-765-4257. Rooms are $120 per night which includes breakfast and supper. We have a limited number of rooms, and they are filling up, so please call for reservations now if you plan to attend.

Our December meeting will be on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 12:00 PM at the Village Tavern in Winston-Salem. The address is 2000 Griffith Road. After we eat, we will play the “Dirty Santa” game. Everyone one is asked to bring a gift ($10 limit). All the gifts will be put in the center, and we will draw numbers. The first person will choose one of the gifts. The second person can then choose either the gift of the previous person(s) or a new gift from the center. This continues until the last person has chosen their gift. Then the first person can choose any of the gifts others have received or keep the one originally chosen. We hope everyone will make plans to attend this fun Christmas meeting!

They are not open for lunch. We will plan to present our check to the Autism Society at the meeting for the money we raised at Miatas at Back of the Dragon. We've had a little confusion over the registration fee, so we want to clarify that the $30 registration fee is per car, not per person.

For our July meeting, on July 14th, we will meet in Pilot Mountain at McDonalds at 10:00 AM, then we will drive to eat at the Hungry Farmer Restaurant in Cana, VA. After we eat, we'll go for a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and finish our drive on Squirrel Spur Road. Hope you can join us!
We are planning a spring drive in Little Switzerland, April 20-22, 2018. There are great curvy roads in the area, including the Diamondback. There are several interesting things in the area, Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, gem mines, etc. If you are interested in these or other attractions, let us know.

We are planning a drive to White Top, VA for the White Top Mountain Maple Festival on Saturday, March 24, 2018. We will meet at McDonalds in Pilot Mountain (Exit 134 off 52) at 9:30 AM. We will tour Elk Garden, hear bluegrass music at Mt. Rogers Fire Hall and enjoy fresh maple syrup atop buckwheat pancakes at the Festival. Plan now to join us for this fun drive!
We are deeply saddened at the loss of one of our faithful members, Robert "Bo" Greenwell. He passed away on January 7, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Faith Church, 241 Hopkins Road, Kernersville, NC.
